Blog Post for Module 3:

This module has helped me think about the impact of the internet on my students' learning in the following ways . . .

Planning your lesson is very important. You have to find your resources in advance, and make sure the links work. There are many resources for any lesson you choose, collaborating through wikis and using each others resources takes away some of the stress in finding the right web site.

Blog Post for Module 1:

This module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways . . .

I feel I will have to be more creative with my assignments. I also feel being prepared to answer any and all questions. The best way to do that is to complete the entire assignment before assigning it.

The Beatles

I have listened to Beatle's songs and know a few of the words. I really can't say I have a favorite member or even a favorite song. After reading about them it is hard to belive they were only together as a group for 5 years. They accomplished a lot during that time and recorded many, many songs. I think there was even a movie or two. I do remember watching their cartoons when I was a kid.

I did find a video of their song Yellow Submarine. My brother had a shirt with Beatles and a Yellow Submarine. He was probably 4 years old and was absolutely the cutest thing ever.

Finishing Up

This has been a great year with my students and Globaloria. I hope my students had as much fun as I did. We have a few more presentations and then we are finished for the year. My students did such a good job with their games, I am so proud of them for working hard to get caught up after all of our snow days.

I am looking forward to next year and a new group of students with all their great ideas for games. I fell I will be better at troubleshooting and helping the students in general with their problems that arise.

This Week

I have had a pretty good week this week. I am still learning a lot about Flash. I wish I keep finding more tutorials and information online. Here is a link to a tutorial on "How to build a Platform Game". It is kind of long but very informative.
